Lucy Pearl was the great grandmother of Shop Owner, Lauren. Better known as “Granny”, she worked as a Seamstress and Dressmaker for her community, family and friends for over 70 years. Born and raised in Louisiana, she was a Master not only of sewing, but also of cooking amazing Cajun cuisine. She spent her adult life in Long Beach, CA raising her three children, traveling and playing Bingo. She is remembered for her treasured stubbornness, and legendary gumbo.
